In the last stage of the viceroyalty of New Spain, in the eighteenth century, in the light of the unprecedented boom in the exploitation of silver, urban development and artistic creation, Mexico City was filled with palaces of families Noble and wealthy. There were also temples, convents, schools and hospitals, as well as public buildings of the size of the Palace of Minery, which boasted the most beautiful ornaments of baroque and neoclassical art.
In this walk through the streets and corners of the historic center, you will meet some of the most famous and beautiful buildings that turned this capital city into the "most precious jewel of the Spanish Crown" and you will also know some of the stories and stories that have involved this historic city in a halo of mystery and legend that make it irresistible.
